Frank The Young Naturalist

A charming cover with simple colors and nice thick lines. Fun fact: the flag that Frank is holding looks a lot like the ones that are sometimes used to signal distress or poor health aboard. I hope everything turns out alright for young Frank.

Sea Monsters and Sea Birds

I found Sea Monsters and Sea Birds at a local used-book store and kind of became obsessed with it. It was printed in 1887 and all the pages are edged in gold. I wish this photo was a little better. You can't really see all the details of the embossed cover. I really need to go back and purchase it.

My Father's Dragon

I'll start off with my favorite book from when I was a kid, My Father's Dragon. My sister got this copy from our elementary school's library. It's a wonderful story with lots of lovely illustrations of animals inside.
